The Automotive Hall of Fame (AHOF) is the single greatest honor in the automotive industry. It is reserved for notable leaders who have made a significant impact in the industry. The Induction Ceremony recognizes alumni by celebrating at this annual gala. On its 80th year anniversary at the Induction & Awards Gala Ceremony, four new members will be inducted into its ranks:
Richard E. “Dick” Dauch
The innovative manufacturing strategist who co-founded American Axle Manufacturing (AAM) which has become one of the largest and most respected Tier 1 automotive suppliers in the world.
Janet became the first woman to compete in a NASCAR Winston Cup race in 1976. Following this, she became the first woman to compete and qualify in the Indianapolis 500 and Daytona 500.
The visionary automotive businessman behind the merger of Fiat and Chrysler, forming one of the largest and most profitable automotive manufacturers in the world, FCA.
Founded the first Finance and Insurance department in the automotive dealer service industry in 1962, forever changing how dealers operate.
